The entire community is welcome and to tell you a bit more about this incredible endeavor…

Classic Youth Theatre, Inc. (CYTI) is opening an arts studio and performance arts space for its tuition-free youth theatre company and the community.  Art classes, workshops for sewing, acting, and paper mache, and CYTI rehearsals will all be held in the space.  Art from local artists will also be showcased in the studio and will be available for retail sale. This Grand Opening/ community fund raiser is a long time in the making for CYTI. The program has survived for years mostly on donated rehearsal space and this is a huge step in growing the program.  Please stop by for some treats and trinkets. The actors will be on hand to tell you about their upcoming show, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!

Artist Loralie McGill will be doing a FREE paper mache workshop at 11 am.  Artist Cassi Mack will be doing a FREE drawing lesson at 12 pm.  Open rehearsal! See the children work on the upcoming production of Jekyll and Hyde from 1-3 pm. Rachel Dovsky will be singing at 3 pm, a real treat you don’t want to miss!  Yes, there will face painting for children, balloons, and food available.
Our Grand Opening will also have on display and for sale the artwork of local artists.  Some of the artists with work on display include Susan Gumm (Painter), Norm Daniels (Painter), Wendy Starling (Painter/Poet), Connie Govier (Glass Artist), Cindy Mcquade Blown (Glass Artist), Katie Rose Murphy (Artist/Poet), Loraine Inglis (Bead Weaver), and more….

We hope to see you there!  Thank you!
