Bram Stoker’s Dracula examines the nature of human character and arrives at the conclusion that the forces which are to be our demise are not lurking in the shadows of the night, but within the human soul. |
| Holiday Show ‘09
Auditions: 1451 MacKinnon Ave Performance Dates: 6350 Yarrow Rd |
Classic Youth Theatre seldom performs musicals, but our Holiday Show opens the door to those types of performances, such as comic routines, sing, dance, and other forms of entertainment that can’t find their way in the other seasons of production. Any person may sign to participate in the show, regardless of age. It is a time to bond and celebrate the arts and our being in the community. |
| The Importance of Being Earnest
Workshop: Auditions: 1451 MacKinnon Ave Performance Dates: 6350 Yarrow Rd |
The Importance of Being Earnest is Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy of manners to life with a hilarious look at fun, games, and dubious ethics among the British upper crust. |
| The Misanthrope
Workshop: Auditions: 1451 MacKinnon Ave Performance Dates: The Olivehain Meeting Hall |
The Misanthrope, one of Moliere’s most popular plays, is a searching comic study of falsity, shallowness, and self-righteousness. The misanthrope in this case is Alceste, a man whose conscience and sincerity are too rigorous for his time. |
